A long time ago Switchvox supported SugarCRM. SugarCRM was forked when they stopped updating the CE version, and shortly after Switchvox stopped supporting SugarCRM.
However SuiteCRM has been a fork of SugarCRM and has maintained a steady continuation and new improvements, as well as an Open API to integrate with the selfhosted CRM.
It would be nice if Switchvox revisited integration with SuiteCRM, or provided a method for integrators to embed a generic webphone into existing projects.
Idealy Switchvox would have a widget to embed in the CRM, allowing Click to Call and automatic call logging of incoming and outgoing calls.
On the Switchboard it should provide a callback hook to the CRM record to allow a user to open the callers history.
